MOON POWER Italia, a new brand dedicated to charging solutions for B2B customers
MOON POWER Italia, the new Volkswagen Group Italia brand dedicated to charging solutions for B2B customers, is operational as of today. This marks another important step in the transition to e-mobility, specifically targeting a strategic sector: corporate fleets.
MOON POWER Italia’s mission is to support the electrification of companies whose vehicle fleets include all-electric vehicles (BEVs) or plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), through customized charging projects tailored to their specific needs.
MOON POWER Italia provides a complete ecosystem for charging and energy management, with hardware solutions ranging from wallboxes to high-power charging stations (HPC). In addition to hardware, the offering includes software with a dedicated interface for energy and administrative management of the charging site, supported by AI for intelligent load management, and energy storage systems. This is complemented by a consulting and support service, coordinated by a MOON POWER team within Volkswagen Group Italia. Starting from an analysis of the B2B customer’s fleet, the team proposes an electrification project covering all necessary aspects: from design and implementation to commissioning and daily operations.
The project, led by Francesco Quaglieri, will leverage the expertise acquired over the years by MOON POWER, a provider of integrated solutions for electric mobility already present in 24 countries – with over 5,000 charging points installed across Europe – and a company of Porsche Holding Salzburg, which took over governance of Volkswagen Group Italia in July 2024.
